XSCopter – Helicopter flight training and simulation center

XSCopter is a helicopter pilot training and simulation center located at Perpignan–Rivesaltes Airport.

Our mission: to provide flight crews with high-level training through a certified flight simulator and recognized human expertise.

In a bright environment just steps from the Mediterranean Sea, crews benefit from a pleasant and inspiring workplace, conducive to both focus and relaxation.

Between sessions, the Catalan atmosphere and proximity to the coastline offer an exceptional setting that combines training, performance, and quality of life.

Company

A unique project in Europe

At the heart of the XSCopter project is the transfer of the EC145-C2 Full-Flight Simulator Level A, previously operated in Sankt Augustin.

Installed at Perpignan–Rivesaltes from June 2026, this simulator, certified by EASA and DGAC, guarantees the same level of quality and realism as during its operation in Germany. It will enable training and checking (OPC/LPC) of pilots from all operators, both nationally and internationally.

XSCopter serves flight crews from all operators in France and abroad. Our strategic location in Southern Europe, combined with a certified simulator and recognized expertise, makes Perpignan a new reference hub for helicopter pilot training and qualification.

The Simulator

A simulator designed for flight crews

Our flight simulator accurately reproduces the most demanding operational conditions:

  • Night operations
  • Instrument flight with PBN capability
  • Night Vision Imaging System (NVIS) operations
  • Maritime operations
  • Offshore platform operations
  • Mountain flying
  • Tactical training

Each session allows crews to train in near-real conditions, enhancing safety, efficiency, and confidence.

Human expertise

25 years of experience at your service

Our instructors and examiners have over 25 years of experience on the BK117-C2. Their guidance combines pedagogy, rigor, and operational feedback. Each pilot benefits from personalized support focused on performance and safety.
